Qatargas Honors Long Serving Employees

Over 400 Qatargas employees were recognised at a special ceremony held to mark continuous years of service with the company.

Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatargas Chief Executive Officer, presented certificates and mementos as a token of appreciation to staff members who have completed twenty five, fifteen, ten or five years of service, at the Qatargas Long Service Awards 2012, held on 27th May at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha.

Commenting on this year?s awards ceremony, Khalid Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Qatargas, said: ?The commitment and dedication of our people has always been the driving force behind our success. I would like to congratulate all our employees who have crossed their long service milestones and thank them for their valuable contributions towards making Qatargas what it is today ? the largest LNG producer in the world, reaching every corner of the globe.?

?We must continue to improve our business and strive for excellence in our operations and the development of our people in our journey to be the premier LNG company in the world. At the same time, we need to also fulfill our responsibilities as a good corporate citizen, and above all, we must continue to remain committed to our core value of safety.? he added.

He urged the long serving employees to keep up the good work and use their knowledge and experience to further improve and adopt best practices in all areas of Qatargas business. He encouraged them to pass on their valuable expertise to all new joiners of Qatargas, and use their wealth of knowledge to assist them in the early years of their careers with Qatargas.
