Not many movie goers will have a chance to laugh out loud at Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore in their upcoming film.
According to The Los Angeles Times, LOL - a drama that stars Cyrus as a coming-of-age teenager and Moore as her mother - will hit theaters on May 4, but only in a few cities.
Lionsgate sources say the studio simply lost enthusiasm (and possibly marketing funds) for the flick after focusing on earlier releases such as Abduction, Conan the Barbarian and The Hunger Games.
LOL, an adaption of a French film directed by Lisa Azuelos, who is also behind the camera for the U.S. version, will open in just seven cities across the country.
But there's hope for Miley's movie career yet: she will star this summer in So Undercover, going undercover inside a sorority and appearing alongside Joshua Bowman and Jeremy Piven.
